About Anthem Pets

Anthem Pets is a non-profit organization created in September 2005 to address the lack of facilities for our pets to exercise and socialize.

Our mission is to implement a fully rounded animal welfare program, that provides education and resources to the community at large, promote responsible pet ownership and work on various animal welfare issues. We believe that no pet is a bad pet. With the right education to owners our pets can become ideal pet citizens and live up to their full potential. Anthem Pets promotes pet adoptions, spay/neuter pet programs, lost and found pets in communities, agility training, pet ownership etiquette and much more.

Built and privately funded first ALL GREEN Dog Park in USA Jackass Acres K-9 Korral

Won the Best Dog Park in USA from Dog Fancy Magazine 2008
Best of Arizona 2008 and 2009.

Received accolades from Parks, Publications and Solar Companies across the USA

Established a 24/7 Hotline for LOST AND FOUND animals in the North Valley. 2,000 plus calls!

Found animals are adopted out to loving families if owners can not be found.(In four years have not sent one found animal to a shelter.

Stepped up when animals left behind in Foreclosures.

Work with Law agencies in our area

Hold Mico Chip Clinic three times a year.

Hold Low Cost Rabies and Shot Clinics.

Hold Education programs for all ages and interests from Snakes and Reptiles to Domestic Pets, and Horses.
as well as Native animals in our area and bugs and spiders

CPR Training for pets is offered.

Speak at local clubs and schools about pets and their welfare.

Prosecute Animal Abuse Cases.

Community Liaisons for barking dogs and pet welfare in homes.

Consulting with Parks and Animal groups on GREEN park Construction across the USA

PUBLISH a monthly newsletter.

Participate in Community Service programs for High School students.

Donate rebagged pet food to Food Banks, Sr.Centers, Meals on Wheels and Transients (we rebag larger bags into smaller amounts so that these folks dont have to feed their own food to pets so they can keep their pets in these times.

Resource for pet information. ie resorts, kennels, groomers and Vets.

Have created a foster network for from a few hours to a few months.

Hold two to three fund raisers a year to help with medical and housing for pets.

Showcased Toyotas new pet friendly car.

Have a crate lending program for travelers
