Saturday Jan 21...first shot Clinic of the year. dog park ....(see flyer.).anyone welcome. We need Vol. from 9-1
attending Dr.Tom Ratke....Academy West Animal Clinic....CATS WELCOME (best they are in carriers)and cats will go to the front of the line since they get upset being out..and with so many dogs.

Feb.4 10-3 ...PACC911 will again bring thier adoption event to Athem ...stop by our booth to say hi!!!

Feb. 12.... Valentines Day at the Dog Park... from 1-4 pm
Christine Filler will conduct her popular obiendence and training mini class at at 2....
Pictures of you and your loving pets...
Pet and People cookies and cold drinks.
Social for Pets and Owners...and our way to say HAPPY VALENTINES DAY. This event is for Dog Park Members only....

March 17....Paddys Day and Paws....celebrate with a great pet walk and fun after....flyer to go out but mark the date...

DOG OF THE YEAR. Canisters will be up on the fence near the bulletin board in the park...put a picture of your pet in one and then people vote with money..Winner is our dog of the Year....prize is to be featured for the rest of the year at events, parades, and a lifetime park membership...We will add more canisters if needed. 2010 Winner was Gracie and 2011 winner was Mandi..

SPEAKING OF THE PARK....below was in our daily email box...says it all...


Barbara, I believe it is appropriate to refer some of our fellow dog park members to one or more of the qualified optometrist located in Anthem. When they visit the eye Doctor they should advise them, that they have an inability to see their dog chew the plastic Chuck-its meant to throw tennis balls AND/OR find the many plastic bag holders located throughout the park meant to pick up POOP of their dog. I'm sure once this is communicated to the eye doctor he will help them get their head out of their posterior

CAMERAS SYSTEM... was purchased to monitor the gate area and the parking lot ...so if you or your dog need to scratch while in the park....we cant see you!!!

FOOD rebagging...the last trip we took over 4,000 pounds to needy pets in Black Canyon City...we took a Tahoe and Suburban filled ...I cant express how grateful they are ...On that note we always accept food, toys, old or new and crates etc. dont throw them out....email us we will even give you a tax receipt which you can add too.

AGILITY CLASSES IN FEB. AND MARCH...THIS WILL BE A PRE-REGISTER EVENT WITH A TRAINER...WATCH FOR THE FLYER .

New Members. Please welcome all new members...we have quite a few lately..so make sure you at least say hello.


Adoptions, Surrenders, and abandoned. Its been a busy month. ...dogs and kittens. We have Rosie picture attached and we will send out a flyer, kittens and puppies were abandoned and placed. Please dont look the other way when you see or hear about pets left behind in foreclosed homes. With your help we can help. People are amazing at helping keep an animal for a few hours or overnight as they know we are here and wont be stuck with them. Fostering is a great reward also...especially when a frantic family finds a lost pet. Last year alone we logged over 3000 calls on our phones....not all lost and found but all important. Even teens have us on their speed-dials..

BANNER IN THE PARK...the ones in the park now are there until April but we are putting up new ones in Jan and Feb...great way to get your business out there on a daily basis for a little over a dollar a day. ..If you know someone who might benefit (it doesnt have to be a dog or cat business) drop us their email and we will take it from there. (flyer attached)

NEW BOARD MEMBERS....we had several great Board Meeting guests in Jan..we are waiting to see if they want to join our Crazy Bunch...
